Real Bobsled Stories
How did you use your free minutes? See how others did, and inspire us with your own story.
For a limited time only, Bobsled is giving away free international calling to anyone in the United States and Puerto Rico, which will allow them to call 44 select countries. The free calling includes 15 minutes per account a day for a total of 15 million minutes. But just so you know, standard data rates do apply.
Why are you giving away these minutes? What’s the catch?
There’s no catch, although we hope that you’ll love our service so much you’ll stick around even after we’ve given away the full 15 million minutes. Consider it a free sample and a token of our “thanks” for being a Bobsled user.
Are there any limits on how many calls I can make in a day or how many minutes I can use during the free calling period?
Yes. You can use up to 15 minutes per day free of charge before opting in to Bobsled billing. You can use those 15 minutes any way you wish, on one call or on a few shorter calls. After that, you will need to wait until the next day to place more calls. The free minutes only apply to outbound calls from the U.S and Puerto Rico.
What happens after the 15 million minutes are used up?
You’ll still be able to call internationally, for free, if you call Bobsled-to-Bobsled. If the person you are calling does not have Bobsled, you will need to pay a fee. Our rates are very competitive with both traditional providers and other VoIP services. Calling to the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico will remain free as always. Bobsled to Bobsled calling will also always remain free. And in all cases, standard data rates will apply.
I tried to buy Bobsled credit and got a message saying my country wasn’t supported. Why did that happen?
We are actively pursuing initiatives around the globe, which may include your country, however this process takes time. Please check back soon to see if we have got you covered.
