Aaron is responsible for making sure all the components of Bobsled Calling are running as expected. His test cases are a thing of beauty and he hunts down and destroys bugs like Starship Troopers. In his free time, Aaron makes his own Starfleet uniforms – yes, seriously – and takes care of his daughter.
A T-Mobile veteran and five- time previous intra-preneur, Alex is the fearless day-to-day leader of the Bobsled team. As a mere youth, Alex started his own band which toured in Mexico, launched his own software company and managed to extract his big brother from a potentially messy bar fight. These days, he spends his time driving his wife and baby son to Oregon State Beaver games.
Andrea is our product manager responsible for our Bobsled Browser experience and iPhone and Android calling applications. He is the human representation of the 'stealth bomber', delivering without fanfare. Andrea, like Nat, is hard to rattle—you would never know he is actually Italian! Andrea is also a nationally-ranked fencer (yes, those are the ones carrying a pointy sword and a mesh mask).
Brad is the Bobsled visionary and executive sponsor of Bobsled within T-Mobile. In other words, he’s the guy who got our leadership team to believe that IP communications was the right thing to do for T-Mobile. He is the current world record holder for intense focus and relentless positivity. Originally from California, Brad enjoys playing soccer, snowboarding and exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife and two ridiculously adorable sons.
Guy has been responsible for catching and eliminating bugs in Bobsled Messaging since August of 2011. As an autodidact in the field of security and compliance, Guy likes to say that he attended the school of hard knocks in lieu of university. An avid baker and decorator of pastries, Guy runs his own baking website. His favorite thing to bake is anything that makes people smile. He sports extensive tattoos, mostly of crows and ravens - including a stunning piece featuring two ravens on his forearms completed in April of 2011.
Joy is our interaction designer, working tirelessly to improve the user experience of Bobsled. She's a whiz with wireframes and mockups, and our user-advocate throughout the product development cycle. She's as fond of technology as she is of people, and is not afraid to jump down in the trenches, talking to users first hand to find out their needs and expectations in order to craft elegant solutions. Behind the scenes she's also an avid fan of super hero movies, all things four-legged, and likes to write, paint, and escape the city to go horseback riding whenever possible.
A true glutton for punishment, Kelli keeps volunteering to program manage T-Mobile's craziest internal ventures. She is our overall marketing program manager for Bobsled and the project manager of Bobsled Calling. She keeps us focused and on-top of things, and she will jump in to fill any role we need to keep us on-track. Bobsled is Kelli and Alex's third internal venture.
Khadouj has been responsible for integrating Bobsled Messaging's Android applications smoothly with device hardware since July of 2011. She has a degree in software engineering from the University of Washington. A native of Morocco, Khadouj loves to spend time at home baking Moroccan cookies, cakes and pastries with her six year-old daughter.
Nathaniel heads the Bobsled Calling services, video and our social media presence. He is an automotive and telcom veteran, with a mechanical engineer background with multiple plug-in hybrids to his name (before green was cool). Nathaniel loves creating, exploring and especially yelling for the Seattle Sounders. He is always calm, cool and collected (if he is not, it’s a good indication it’s time to jump ship).
Ryan is responsible for our partner and business development activities around Bobsled Calling and Video. When it comes to contracts and negotiations, he has seen it all. Ryan can pull a deal valuation faster than Usain Bolt runs the 100 meters. Un-assuming and easily underestimated, Ryan is one of our secret weapons.
Ryan is responsible for maximizing the performance of Bobsled, as well as other programs for T-Mobile. When he is not staring at spreadsheets he ventures far and wide in search of great live music, runs in the rain, travels, and prepares all manner of exotic food.
Sivan is responsible for all our partner and business development activities around Bobsled Messaging. She negotiates more deals in a year than most people will see in their lifetime. If you are buying a new home, you want her on your side, and even if you aren’t, you still do.
Steve is responsible for Bobsled Messaging Web application and has launched and run multiple intra-preneurial businesess and launched countless products for some big brands in coffee, software, and telecom. He sees opportunities most people ignore, brings people together to take good to great, and is a connoisseur of all things 60's kitsch. Yah, baby, yah!
T is our social networking dynamo and Web geek. She manages the integration between Bobsled and social networks, handles our social media presence and our Website configuration, and serves as the 'voice of Bobsled' - writing copy and recording the voiceovers in our product videos. This is her second project with Alex, and her second stint in the social networking space at T-Mobile. In her free time, T writes and performs her own music, flies on the trapeze (yes, like in the circus) and speaks on the intersection of technology and feminism.

Q.Bobsled Messaging comes set up to send messages as an SMS from your mobile number just like your normal messaging client. You can change this in your Account Settings under Message Sending so that you only use your data plan to send text messages. When this setting is enabled, your friends get messages from a short code. There are only 100 characters available for your message because we have to include a message explaining to your friends why they are getting messages from a short code.
